Misión de Nuestra Señora de Loreto was founded in 1697, at the Monqui (Native American) settlement of Conchó, which next become the city of Loreto, Baja California, Mexico.
Loreto was the first established Catholic mission in Baja California.
The mission, with the exception of its essential Catholic church functions, closed in 1829.
