I feel compassion for them, but I also feel helpless anger. I've never seen so many homeless people since I moved to New Mexico in 2019.

The hole in the glass makes this eloquent; I wrote about flying over "the dead & the dying" in my song about leaving Albuquerque, NM. I was sitting in a car at the gas station on Central & Wyoming, broad daylight, a lady was sitting on the curb "shooting up". Very sad,

Sometimes I watch these people, if I take a picture is it with maximum respect, cuz at that moment I think is it a weird joke of destiny I'm not in that position. In reality, I was lucky all my life
