The name Cowgate is derived from medieval times. It was where the cattle headed down the street on market for the slaughterhouse.
Nowadays a number of pubs and breweries are here in the old town of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Micah Offman as a photographer resided in Tucson, AZ but he had the opportunity to travel throughout the world and, as a result, the chance to capture a host of intriguing images from many different countries. Micah is interested in photographing a wide number of different subjects often filtered with dream-like atmospheres or with music as inspiration.
