The legendary medieval bridge in the forest of Artzubi, the oldest in the Urdabay region in Spain (a biosphere that extends to the delta of the Oka River) was built in the 16th century to facilitate the passage over the Rio Golako.
It takes its name from the forest in which it is located, Puente Artzubi or in Basque Artzubi Zubia
