Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The ancient Arab Gate of the main bridge of Ronda (Spain) was made bigger and replaced by this gate during the reign of the first king of the Bourbon dynasty in the Spanish Kingdom, Philip V, in 1742.
