The Puente Nuevo (New Bridge) is the newest and largest of three bridges that spanned the 120-meter-deep (390 ft) chasm that carries the Guadalevín River and divides the city of Ronda, in southern Spain.
The construction was started in 1759 and took 34 years.
There is a chamber above the central arch that was used as a prison. During the 1936–1939 civil war both sides allegedly used the prison as a torture chamber for captured opponents, killing some by throwing them from the windows to the rocks at the bottom of the El Tajo gorge.
Micah Offman as a photographer resided in Tucson, AZ but had the opportunity to travel throughout the world and, as a result, the chance to capture a host of intriguing images from many different countries. Micah is interested in photographing disparate subjects, often filtered with dream-like atmospheres or with music as inspiration. All of his images have a special look that is the result of his commitment to making photographs treated in detail. Furthermore, his passion for science fiction and fantasy themes has also led him to produce some works using AI (Artificial Intelligence) finding its originality here too.
