Artist's Description

The Palacio de Correos de Mexico (Postal Palace of Mexico City) was built at the very beginning of the 20th century. It was designed by Italian architect Adamo Boari (1863 - 1928) (who also designed the Palacio de Bellas Artes) and the construction was the most modern of the time, including a very eclectic style mixing several different traditions into a very complex design. This building was heavily damaged by the earthquake. In the 1990s, restoration work brought the building back to its original construction and appearance and later became a museum.

After years spent in the recording studio working alongside musical artists, he continued to have music among his main sources of inspiration while working with images. Micah's artistic visual narrative captures the dream form set against a backdrop of startling landscapes spanning the Americas to the west of Europe and the outback of North Africa. He incorporates these documentary forms into building a layered narrative through street people. Through these works, we journey alongside Micah through terrains both geographic and emotional....
