Artist's Description
The Cafè de Chinitas, located in the homonymous Pasaje in Malaga (Spain), serves customers between 1957 and 1937, it's international fame was due to the references Federico Garcia Lorca made in his poem dedicated to bullfighter Paquiro. Its theatre was well-known for its song and dance performance.
The Pasaje de Chinitas was part of a convent established in 1628. Only the marble facade that provides access to Constitution square was retained of the former convent.
