Artist's Description

The existence of Ferriera de Olazarra is documented since the mid-seventeenth century and can still be seen today at the edge of the forest of Artzubi in Spain.
It was supplied with iron from the mountains of Triano, transported on veined barges following the coast up to the "Renteria" of Ajanzig and the machinery was working by the force of the waterflow.
