Description
They are not ancient ruins but were built for the military and abandoned to the sandstorms.
From this side, Morocco could spy the Algeria, the border passing right on that hilltop where there are a couple of operational buildings.
Strictly forbidden to approach, you can't know more.
--
Location: al-Maghrib (Morocco), 10 miles from Merzouga on the Algeria border
--
Somewhere, old heroes shuffle safely down the street
Where you can speak out loud about your doubts and fears
And now everyone disappears
In the corner of some foreign field
The gunner sleeps tonight
What's done is done
